TEQ’s improvements in the gradual resumption of projects

On May 21st, Transition Énergétique Québec (TEQ) presented a series of exceptional bonuses in several of its programs to support citizens and businesses in the gradual resumption of their projects. These measures were put in place to stimulate the fields of energy efficient construction and renovation in Quebec and to encourage businesses to pursue their energy transition, innovation and efficiency projects, despite of the economic slowdown. current.

The improvements in residential programs have generated a great deal of interest among Quebec’s residents and businesses have also started to benefit from the TEQ's novelties. It has already been confirmed that an additional financial assistance of $ 3.9 million will be paid to 290 participating businesses. This additional assistance will allow their projects to materialize despite the current context, leading to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions estimated at 15,000 t eq. CO2, or the equivalent of removing nearly 4,415 light vehicles from the road.
