Draftsman in building mechanics

Your role as a technician/draughtsman will allow you to showcase your technical skills in energy recovery, HVAC, pumping, plumbing and piping. You will participate in the realization of engineering, technological choices and the projects implementation in the industrial and commercial sectors. Without limitation, your role will be to:

-Carry out technical information statements;

-Plan ideas and designs;

-Participate in the energy consumption evaluation and improvement opportunities for the customer;

-Participate in studies, savings calculations and other analyzes;

-Participate in the plans designs, specifications and details as a team, with the project manager;

-Coordinate work at the client's site and monitor contractors on site;

-Participate in the commissioning and troubleshooting of systems.

Requirements

 -Mastery of Autocad software;

-College diploma in building mechanics, electromechanics or equivalent;

-Experience in project implementation;

-Good knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes;

-Good control of the French language

-Asset: English, oral and written

-Asset: Experience in the industrial sector

-Asset: experience in project management, cost estimation
